A total of 11 finalists have been selected for Bounty's Make a Clean Difference contest, a nationwide competition for an art classroom makeover in one lucky elementary or middle school.
Among the schools chosen to win $25,000 towards improvements for the art room were Washington Elementary School in Illinois, Quebec Heights Elementary School in Ohio and Central Montcalm Middle School in Michigan.
The grand prize winner - which will be announced later this week - will have their art classroom
revamped by Bravo channel designers Cortney and Robert Novogratz, while the other 10 finalists will win $5,000 and a visit from the Bounty Make-a-Messterpiece bus, a four-wheel studio that seeks to engage kids in creativity and exploration through art.
"We are thrilled that so many schools entered our contest," said brand manager Dave Lee. "We believe that better funded art programs in school enable more hands-on creativity and learning for children."
Since the start of the contest last Friday, teachers, students and parents were encouraged to nominate a school of their choice by writing a 500-word essay. The finalists were chosen based on their individual need. The grand prize winner will be selected by visitors to Bounty's Facebook page. |
